Taking advantage of favorable weather, the Ha Tinh Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Management Center coordinated with the Ha Tinh Traffic Construction and Management Joint Stock Company and related units to urgently fix the leveling and clearing of rocks. In the immediate future, the construction units focused on clearing rocks in small sections, creating a path for machinery to move up to thoroughly handle orphaned rocks and points with the highest risk of landslides.
Mr. Tran Van Tung, Director of the Ha Tinh Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Management Center, said that along with using vehicles to level the land, the unit has taken temporary preventive measures such as building stone cages into walls to protect the road surface from incidents when soil and rocks from the mountain can fall down.
To ensure safety, the units have deployed continuous guards, installed barriers, signs, and traffic lights, and strictly prohibited all unauthorized vehicles from entering or exiting.

The biggest challenge for the technical team today is not only the huge amount of rock and soil that needs to be cleared, but also the risk of landslides. The mountainous area above still has a lot of "orphan rocks", large rocks waiting to fall down at any time. Previously, due to long-term heavy rain, the geological foundation was weak, many deep cracks appeared on the mountain, so the handling was carefully and scientifically calculated to ensure absolute safety for human resources and machinery.
The repair is expected to take a long time due to complex terrain conditions. The construction units here will make every effort to soon clear the route, stabilize traffic activities and the regional economy .
It is estimated that about 40,000 cubic meters of rock and soil had to be leveled and cleared when they flooded the road, blocking the road and cutting off this important traffic route.
In addition to the serious landslide in Ky Xuan commune, many other points on the Ha Tinh coastal road through mountainous areas in Cam Trung and Ky Xuan communes also have a high risk of landslides. The provincial authorities have reviewed, inspected and developed plans to ensure safety.
