Support of more than 230 million VND to help Dak Lak people overcome the consequences of floods

DNO - Da Nang Hospital, in coordination with the Quang Ngai Charity group and philanthropists, has just organized a trip to support people affected by floods in Phu Hoa 1 commune (Dak Lak province), with a total cost of more than 230 million VND.

Representatives of Da Nang Hospital and philanthropists presented support to people in Dak Lak province who suffered heavy damage due to floods.

The delegation presented 258 gifts, including blankets, cash and medical kits to the people, with a total value of 162 million VND; and also supported 6 households in Tuy An Dong commune whose houses collapsed, with a cost of 21.5 million VND.

The delegation presented a total of 9,300 notebooks and more than 2,100 pens to 2,400 students of Phu Hoa Secondary School and Phu Hoa 2 Primary School (campuses 1 and 2), with a total value of 47.2 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quoc, Deputy Head of the Social Work Department (Da Nang Hospital) said that the activity aimed to promptly share the difficulties with people in flood-affected areas, demonstrating the hospital's sense of responsibility towards the community. The unit will continue to maintain charitable activities, contributing to helping people in difficult areas soon stabilize their lives.
