From 6 p.m. on November 30, people and vehicles were allowed to circulate again on the Mimosa Pass-National Highway 20, Xuan Huong Ward-Da Lat, Lam Dong Province, after 12 days of urgently overcoming a serious landslide incident.
On the evening of November 30, on Mimosa Pass , one of the important gateways to the administrative-political center of Lam Dong province, two-way traffic was back on track.
On the same day, Lam Dong Province Department of Construction issued a notice about the resumption of traffic on the Mimosa Pass-National Highway 20 route.
According to the announcement, based on the situation of overcoming and repairing the landslide and the results of the inspection of the completion of the temporary road section Km226+600-Km226+800, on Mimosa Pass between the Department of Construction and Project Management Board 85 - Ministry of Construction , from 6:00 p.m. on November 30, people and vehicles are allowed to circulate again on the Mimosa Pass road following the temporary road at the landslide location.

According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, currently, construction units are continuing to construct repair items on the above route section, so people and vehicles, when traveling through Mimosa Pass, need to limit traveling through the route section when there is heavy rain, at night, limited visibility (fog), except in necessary cases.
At the same time, while driving, pay attention to the current status of the route to promptly handle any problems that may arise. Proactively slow down, comply with traffic signs and traffic diversion plans in areas where construction and repairs are being carried out on the route.
Lam Dong Provincial Department of Construction requested the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police and the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat to support the arrangement of forces to regularly patrol, control, and ensure smooth and safe traffic during the construction, repair, and restoration of the remaining items on Mimosa Pass.

Project Management Board 85 is responsible for monitoring and inspecting temporary road works to promptly repair any damage, and to fully install road signaling systems in accordance with traffic organization plans and current regulations.
As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on the evening of November 19, a serious landslide occurred on Mimosa Pass. The entire road surface was broken, about 50m wide, about 30m deep, and the length of the slide was about 100m. The Mimosa Pass landslide cut off the vital traffic route into the center of Da Lat.

After the incident, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi went to the scene and requested relevant units to concentrate maximum forces and means, immediately deploy solutions to quickly clear the route and ensure traffic safety.
On the morning of November 30, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi inspected the actual construction work to fix the landslide on Mimosa Pass. At the same time, he awarded certificates of merit to units with outstanding achievements in fixing the landslide on Mimosa Pass, an important gateway to the administrative-political center of Lam Dong Province, ensuring traffic re-opening at 6:00 p.m. the same day.
