Environmental protection inspection of 18 projects

Lam Dong Department of Agriculture and Environment has just established a team to inspect compliance with environmental protection laws for 18 projects implemented in Lam Dong Region 2 in the period of 2023 - 2025.

Livestock farms must meet environmental protection requirements.

Of which, 10 livestock farms and 8 projects for building new residential areas, solar power, agricultural processing, rubber, high-tech agricultural production, stone mining and processing, and unburnt brick production were inspected. Specific inspection contents include: preparation, appraisal and approval of environmental impact assessment reports; implementation of projects, plans, registrations, and environmental protection licenses; trial operation, confirmation of completion of works and environmental protection measures; periodic environmental monitoring and supervision; declaration and payment of environmental protection fees for wastewater and industrial emissions; waste management, etc.

The inspection team's activities will end in the fourth quarter of 2025.
