Yandex Ads has announced the sixth and latest version of its Mobile Ads SDK, enabling developers to monetize and increase revenue directly from the app download screen using in-app advertising tools.
Additionally, the update introduces new rewarded ad formats. DivKit support is now available for all ad formats—this technology automatically assembles in-app ad layouts on the server and doesn't require developers to release a new app.
The new SDK version also introduces a feature that automatically adjusts banner size to fit a specific application. Developers will be able to manage it in two ways: StickySize and InlineSize. The first is for small strip banners that occupy no more than 15% of the screen height, and the second is for adaptive banners integrated into the content.
The Mobile Ads SDK now supports DivKit technology across all ad formats. Using this algorithm, the most relevant ad elements and placements are selected for each user without requiring any further action from the user. As a result, ads become more engaging and noticeable... allowing publishers to increase conversions and revenue.
