HoSE asks producer of "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Challenges" to explain
The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has just asked Yeah 1 Group Joint Stock Company (YEG) to explain why YEG shares have experienced 5 consecutive ceiling price increases from December 17 to December 23.
On the morning of December 24, YEG shares continued to trade at the ceiling price of VND 21,700/share before adjusting down.
Yeah 1 is subject to explanation under Clause 1q, Article 11, Circular 96/2020/TT BTC.

In September 2024, Yeah1 approved the offering of shares to existing shareholders at a rate of 40%, at a price of VND 10,000/share, expected to be implemented in the third or fourth quarter of 2024, after being approved by the State Securities Commission.
Yeah1 will offer more than 54 million shares to raise VND548 billion. The mobilized capital will be used to pay for capital contribution to 1Production Company Limited, VND127 billion to repay loans to buy shares of Yeah1 Edigital JSC, VND100 billion to repay loans to buy shares of Netlink Vietnam Technology Media JSC, VND62.4 billion to pay off loans from Vietinbank and VND47.46 billion to supplement capital to carry out the company's regular business activities.
YEG shares increased sharply after the attraction of the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", especially the success of the concert in Ho Chi Minh City and Hung Yen with huge ticket sales.
Expert Le Ngoc Nam, Director of Analysis from Stockmap, a technical analysis application that tracks cash flow in the stock market, assessed that it is not advisable to buy new YEG shares because the stock price has increased too much and is already high. Sometimes, stocks that have increased so strongly will create liquidity traps, releasing news to create a fomo mentality (fear of missing out on opportunities).
YEG shares attract investors' cash flow because of their orientation to produce high-quality entertainment programs with cultural values that attract a large number of viewers of different ages. The program Anh trai vu ngan cong nong gai 2025 is preparing to launch.
Yeah1 must explain the reason for the stock price hitting the ceiling within 24 hours of the request for explanation.
