1. Established immediately after the war ended. The War Remnants Museum opened on September 4, 1975, initially named "Exhibition House of American-Puppet Regime Crimes," just a few months after the end of the war against the US and the reunification of North and South Vietnam.
2. Possessing a vast collection of over 20,000 artifacts , the documents, images, weapons, relics, etc., stored and displayed at the Museum contribute to recreating a comprehensive picture of the fierce war of the past.
