On the morning of July 16, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam scores of more than one million candidates.

According to Dan Tri newspaper's analysis of exam score data announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, the top scorer of block C00 (combined literature, history, geography) in the 2025 high school graduation exam is candidate with registration number 29005729.

This candidate from Nghe An province got 29.75 points. In which, this candidate got 10 points in history and geography, and 9.75 points in literature.

In addition, this candidate also got 8 points in math.

In addition, there are 13 runners-up with 29.5 points.

This year, the number of valedictorians achieving this score decreased sharply compared to 2024, causing surprise when there were 19 candidates with block C00 achieving 29.75 points.

Last year, the C00 exam scores skyrocketed with a series of record-breaking numbers. The 25-point mark increased by 256%, the 27-point mark increased by 534.15%... compared to 2023.

19 top students of block C00 in 2024 all scored 29.75 points. Of which, Bac Ninh has the majority with 13 top students. Following is Nghe An with 2 top students. Localities according to the old boundaries: Nam Dinh, Thai Binh , Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh... each province has 1 top student.

In 2025, the whole country will have a total of more than 1.16 million candidates taking the high school graduation exam, of which nearly 25,000 candidates will take the 2006 general education program and the remaining 1.13 million candidates will take the current program.
