143 young men from the Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic groups have enlisted in the army.

Along with other localities in the province, Huong Hoa district held its 2024 military conscription ceremony this morning, February 26th. Ho Dai Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, attended the event.

In 2024, Huong Hoa district had 182 citizens enlisting in the army, including 143 young men from the Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic minorities. All recruits met the requirements regarding political background , education, and health.

Speaking at the military enlistment ceremony, Chairman of the Huong Hoa District People's Committee Tran Binh Thuan expressed his confidence that the new recruits would continue the heroic traditions of their homeland, strive in all aspects, quickly adapt to the new environment, diligently study and train, strictly adhere to discipline, and excellently fulfill all assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland. This is the sentiment and precious gift that these young men dedicate to their families and homeland.

At the ceremony, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ho Dai Nam, and other delegates presented flowers and gifts to encourage the new recruits as they departed for military service.
