Professor Nguyen Minh Ha delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the final round of the Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers.
The final round of the Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers has just opened in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 17 projects from universities across the country.
In the final round, the judging panels consisted of members from 26 universities and research institutes, covering fields such as natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, agriculture , and social sciences and humanities.
Professor Nguyen Minh Ha, Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (the host institution), said that for young lecturers, these projects will be an important starting point for their future scientific research careers. The serious implementation of scientific research projects will also contribute to promoting innovation in content, curriculum, and teaching methods, thereby improving the quality of education at universities.
The Science and Technology Award for Young Lecturers, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, is for young lecturers (under 35 years old) in universities. Having been held twice, the award has attracted a large number of young lecturers.
The closing ceremony and awards presentation are scheduled to take place in November 2024 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
