On March 28, the Son La Department of Education and Training held the summary of the 11th Provincial Competition for Excellent Teachers of Preschool Education Institutions, school year 2023 - 2024.

Participating in the contest were 183 teachers from 137 preschools in the province, competing in Steam educational activities and 5 development areas, implemented at 4 age groups: 25-36 month old children and 3, 4, 5 year old kindergarten. Contestants went through 2 rounds: Presenting educational measures and practicing 1 educational activity (teaching period) in the preschool education program.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the contest took place safely, with good quality, with many good lessons, clearly demonstrating the innovation of teaching methods according to the educational perspective of taking children as the center. All teaching activities were carefully prepared by the contestants, determining the correct teaching objectives, suitable for the children's age. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the 11th provincial-level excellent teacher certificates for the 2023-2024 school year to 176 qualified candidates who achieved high results at the contest. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to 1 individual; the Provincial Labor Federation awarded specialized certificates of merit to 6 individuals; the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 30 individuals; the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded certificates of merit to 12 individuals; the Provincial Association of Former Teachers awarded certificates of merit to 5 individuals; the Executive Committee of the Education and Training Trade Union awarded certificates of merit to 16 individuals.
