
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung and leaders of the four wards presented the Phan Chau Trinh Award to 184 outstanding individuals.
This includes 4 PhDs, 6 Master's degree holders, 2 outstanding teachers at the provincial level, 52 students graduating with excellent grades, 76 students graduating with good grades, and 44 students who won national and provincial-level first prizes.
Notably, among the individuals honored this year, Le Bao Hiep (a student at the University of Science , Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) received the award for the fourth time.
Several individuals have received the award three times, including: Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan (University of Paris Cité, French National Institute for Research), Doan Phuong Nhu Y (student at the University of Szeged - Hungary), Vo Dang Khoa, and Nguyen Bao Tram (students at Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted).

The Phan Chau Trinh Award was initiated by Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province (formerly) to encourage and motivate individuals with outstanding achievements in research, study, teaching, and significant contributions to the movement for promoting learning and talent, and building a learning society in the locality.
After 23 editions, the Phan Chau Trinh Award has honored thousands of outstanding individuals and groups, from PhDs and masters graduates to excellent students and teachers dedicated to the cause of education . Through this, it promotes the tradition of studiousness among the younger generation in the wards and demonstrates their aspiration to excel and contribute to their homeland and country.

In 2025, amidst the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, the four wards formerly part of Tam Ky city collaborated to organize an award ceremony, demonstrating a spirit of solidarity and joint effort for the cause of promoting education and talent development in the community.
