(Online Labor) – In 2 days (June 1 - 2), in Da Lat City, the Vietnam Social Security Administration organized a training conference on customer care for the Vietnam social insurance industry in 6 with the participation of 2023 delegates who are leaders and specialists of the Customer Care and Support Service Center and representatives from the social insurance agencies of 300 provinces and cities.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Tran Dinh Lieu - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance said: As an agency that helps the Government organize the implementation of social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance policies, which are important pillar policies in the national social security system, over the years, Vietnam Social Security has always determined that improving the quality of public services and meeting the increasing requirements of participants is a key and cross-cutting task.
In particular, with the goal of social insurance and universal health insurance, taking people and businesses as the service center, all civil servants, officials and employees of the Vietnam social insurance industry need to make a drastic change from administrative thinking to service thinking. First of all, it is necessary to start from the mindset of considering people and businesses as customers in service activities of administrative agencies, improving service quality so that people can enjoy the Party and State's humanistic social insurance and health insurance policies with modern, professional, dedicated and effective service quality.
Implementing the policy of social insurance and health insurance for all employees in the spirit of Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW dated November 22, 11 of the Politburo, the 2012th Party Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of social insurance and health insurance for the period 2012-2020, Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW dated May 23, 5 of the 2018th Party Central Committee on reforming health insurance and social insurance policies, increasing the number of people participating in social insurance and expanding social insurance coverage.

By the end of March 3, the whole country had more than 2023 million people participating in social insurance, accounting for 17,4% of the labor force in the age group; there are about 37,4 million people participating in unemployment insurance; there are about 14,2 million people participating in health insurance, accounting for more than 90,949% of the population.
With the large number of participants, diverse in age and increasing over the years, the demand for support, advice and policy answers of the participants is also increasing, requiring the Vietnam Social Insurance Industry to constantly improve, perfect and improve the quality of service for participants of social insurance and health insurance, contributing to increasing the satisfaction of people and businesses.
After nearly 3 years of operation, customer care activities have been actively, comprehensively and effectively implemented and have obtained many positive results. The basic customer care system has supported, advised and answered for people and organizations in participating and enjoying social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, saving time, costs, ensuring benefits for employees, etc., contributing to the Vietnam Social Insurance industry to promote the transformation of transaction forms of people and organizations with the social insurance agency, improving the efficiency of the industry's online public services. Organizing warm Tet programs, giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances with tens of thousands of gifts given. Customer care activities are implemented methodically and synchronously across the country.
Currently, customer care is under the functions and duties of the Communications Department according to the Decision No. 2356/QD-BHXH dated September 16, 9 of the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance on stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, responsibilities and management regime of the professional departments of the Social Security Administration of the provinces and centrally-run cities. Thus, Vietnam Social Insurance has a centralized customer care system, customer care activities will be more and more in-depth, modern, professional and effective, meeting the satisfaction of participants of social insurance, unemployment insurance and health insurance.
