Accordingly, 320 students from disadvantaged families received free swimming lessons at two locations: the Cam Lo town center swimming pool and the Thanh An Secondary School swimming pool. Each class was assigned three instructors; there were supervisors and lifeguards; and coaches were assigned to teach according to the trained curriculum.
The entire course consists of 16 sessions. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate provided they can swim 25 meters or more and stay afloat for 90 seconds or more.
Organizing free swimming lessons aims to raise awareness about drowning prevention, equip children with necessary swimming skills, and contribute to ensuring their safety and minimizing drowning accidents.
