BHG - On the morning of June 26th, after the first subject of the 2025 high school graduation exam concluded, many candidates excitedly left the examination centers. The majority of students assessed this year's Literature exam as being of moderate difficulty and highly relevant to current events.

This morning, 7,405 out of 7,479 candidates in the province attended the exam, achieving a participation rate of 99.01%. 25 candidates were exempted from the exam due to disabilities, and 49 candidates were absent, including 7 high school students (grades 12, academic year 2024-2025) and 42 independent candidates. The morning session of the exam proceeded safely and seriously, with no violations of exam regulations by invigilators/supervisors or candidates.

This year's Literature exam no longer includes text from textbooks, and the literary analysis question is now only worth 2 out of 10 points. In the writing section, candidates are required to write a 200-word literary analysis essay (maximum 2 points) and a 600-word social commentary essay (maximum 4 points). This aims to assess students' reading comprehension and understanding of texts in real-life situations, preventing rote learning and memorization. Texts in the exam may include passages, poems, or situations related to current events and social life. Many students are confident they can achieve a score of 7 or higher.
Overall, the atmosphere during the first exam session was quite smooth and relaxed. The candidates left the exam room in an optimistic mood, creating a good psychological momentum for the subsequent subjects.
