ABBANK changes its senior management.

On August 10, 2023, the Board of Directors of ABBANK approved the resignation of Ms. Le Thi Bich Phuong from her position as Deputy General Director, who assumed the duties and responsibilities of the General Director, at her own request. Ms. Le Thi Bich Phuong will take on other duties within the Bank as assigned by the Board of Directors. The ABBANK Board of Directors also decided to appoint Mr. Pham Duy Hieu – a member of the Human Resources Committee – as Deputy General Director and assign him the duties and responsibilities of the General Director of ABBANK, effective from August 10, 2023.

Mr. Pham Duy Hieu has been assigned the duties and responsibilities of the General Director of ABBANK effective August 10, 2023.

Mr. Pham Duy Hieu, born in 1978, holds a Master's degree in Finance, Monetary Circulation and Credit from the National Economics University. He currently serves as a member of the Human Resources Committee, focusing on training management staff and supporting the implementation of ABBANK's "Cultural Journey".

Previously, Mr. Hieu was also assigned by the ABBANK Board of Directors to participate in the management of the Bank in the positions of Deputy General Director and General Director, leading ABBANK to achieve the business plan targets assigned by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors trusts that Mr. Hieu's return to the executive position will work together with the Executive Board, functional units at the Head Office, Business Units and all employees to promote credit growth, improve operational efficiency, effectively control bad debts, and strive towards the strategic goals assigned by the Board of Directors; creating positive changes in strengthening the system and laying the foundation for future development.
