From May 13th, Petrolimex officially added E10RON95-V bioethanol fuel to the list of petroleum products sold in its system.

Accordingly, Petrolimex officially applies the price of E10RON95-V gasoline at 24,630 VND/liter, higher than the prices of E10RON95-III and E5RON92 gasoline currently sold at 23,730 VND/liter and 23,790 VND/liter respectively. However, the selling price of E10RON95-V gasoline is still 620 VND/liter lower than the price of RON95-V mineral gasoline.

The price of E10RON95-V bioethanol fuel announced by Petrolimex is applied at Petrolimex's distribution system throughout Vietnam, including: Petrolimex gas stations and small-scale fuel dispensing points belonging to Petrolimex; gas stations of dealers and general agents selling Petrolimex fuel; and gas stations of retailers operating under franchise agreements from Petrolimex.

For areas far from ports, main depots, and petroleum production facilities as stipulated in Clause 27, Article 1, Decree 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 of the Government (referred to by Petrolimex as "Region 2"); the General Director of Petrolimex authorizes the Directors of Petrolimex's member petroleum companies to directly determine the actual selling price in the area where they operate, but this price must not exceed the Zone 2 price mentioned above.

Previously, on April 25th, Petrolimex began large-scale blending of E10RON95-III bioethanol at the K130 upstream depot (Quang Ninh) for distribution throughout its system according to a detailed plan, aiming to implement the process ahead of schedule as stipulated in Circular No. 50/2025/TT-BCT dated November 7, 2025, of the Ministry of Industry and Trade : Regulations on the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of bioethanol with traditional fuels in Vietnam.

According to Petrolimex General Director Luu Van Tuyen, the Group is ready in terms of infrastructure, supply, and implementation. Previously, Petrolimex proactively worked with units inside and outside the system that needed to blend and utilize Petrolimex's facilities to prepare investment scenarios for infrastructure, ensuring not only sufficient capacity to supply E10 gasoline internally but also to the entire market.

Currently, Petrolimex has 8 main E10 gasoline blending facilities in Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Da Nang, Van Phong (Khanh Hoa), Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, and some other areas, with a total capacity to meet the entire demand of phase 1 of the system (over 5 million m³), and can also support other wholesale traders.
