Russia's AK-19 creates great attraction at the Army-2023 military forum

At the Army-2023 international forum in Moscow, the famous Russian defense manufacturer Kalashnikov introduced to customers the AK-19 assault rifle, this novel weapon is designed with 5.56×45 mm cartridges according to NATO standards.

The AK-19 assault rifle is the latest addition to Kalashnikov's arsenal, a variant of the AK-12 rifle modified to accommodate the Western 5.56 mm caliber.

According to the manufacturer, this weapon is mainly aimed at international customers whose military forces are using guns with 5.56×45 mm caliber.

AK-19 shows outstanding features with high accuracy when shooting, the recoil reduction head of AK-19 is also redesigned to help the gun have less recoil, increasing accuracy after each round of shooting. Especially after being manufactured with new materials, the notable point of AK-19 is that it does not burn in fire, does not sink in water and can operate in all weather conditions.

The AK-19 uses a folding stock to increase flexibility during use. The gun weighs 3.3 kg, has an overall length of 875-935 mm, a barrel length of 415 mm, a magazine capacity of 30 rounds, a range of 440 m, and three firing modes - single shot, two-round burst, and automatic.

Picatinny rails are designed on the gun face to support the installation of accessories such as scopes, flashlights, grenade launchers, etc. In addition to the above features, the AK-19 is also equipped with a new scope, a silencer and a muzzle-suppressing speaker.
