Warm program 'Spring Homeland - Dear Vietnamese' in Laos

According to VNA correspondent in Laos, on the evening of February 7, the program "Spring in the homeland - Dear Vietnamese language" took place in the capital Vientiane.
This is a program organized by the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos with the participation of representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos; overseas Vietnamese in Laos and Thailand; former Lao students in Vietnam and students of the Lao-Vietnamese Nguyen Du Bilingual School. Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Sinh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos, said that the program "Spring in the homeland - Dear Vietnamese" is one of the activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism this year under the Project "Honoring the Vietnamese Language Day in the Vietnamese Community Abroad for the period 2023 - 2030". The program also aims to honor the beauty of the Vietnamese language through outstanding works of Vietnamese music and poetry; at the same time, helping the Vietnamese community in Laos, Thailand and Lao people who know Vietnamese feel the beauty of the Vietnamese language through poetic works expressed in Vietnamese. On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Sinh expressed his hope that the Vietnamese community in Laos and Thailand will love and appreciate the Vietnamese language more and will pay more attention to preserving and using the Vietnamese language in families and communities to contribute to maintaining the use of Vietnamese in the community and spreading the Vietnamese language widely.
Within the framework of the program, delegates enjoyed an art program with songs and poems about President Ho Chi Minh , the country and people of Vietnam and the Laos - Vietnam friendship performed in Vietnamese by former Lao students in Vietnam and students of Nguyen Du Lao - Vietnam Bilingual School.
