This afternoon (April 28), the provincial delegation led by comrade Nguyen Minh Luan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited policy families and meritorious people in Ca Mau city.
The delegation visited two families of 4/4 war invalids, Mr. Tran Van Hong (71 years old) in Hamlet 8, Ward 5 and Mr. Tran Van Cua (86 years old), residing in Hamlet 4, Ward 6, Ca Mau City. War invalid Tran Van Cua was awarded the Third Class Independence Medal and the First Class Resistance Medal. The families all followed the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and had a tradition of studiousness.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, comrade Nguyen Minh Luan expressed his deep respect and gratitude for the sacrifices, losses, and great contributions of the heroic martyrs, war invalids, meritorious people, and their families in the cause of national liberation and reunification; kindly asked about the health and life of the families and listened to their stories. At the same time, he presented meaningful gifts on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national liberation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that war invalids and their families will continueto educate the younger generations to continue the revolutionary tradition of their ancestors and actively build their homeland to become more innovative and developed.
In a warm and affectionate atmosphere, the wounded soldiers were moved to recall unforgettable and heroic memories of the fierce and arduous resistance war, contributing to the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. At the same time, they expressed their deep gratitude to the provincial leaders for always caring for those with meritorious services.
