The 3 points in the opening match helped the team of Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports gain a big advantage in the race for a ticket to the quarterfinals. After the match, the first thing coach Tran Trung Kien wanted to share was his thanks to the fans. "Our team overcame difficulties, not only thanks to the best efforts of the players themselves, but also thanks to the encouragement of the audience in the stands, including former students of Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports", said Mr. Kien.

After the match, fan Vo Ngoc Cang could not hide his joy and immediately went down to the field to shake hands and congratulate all members of the Da Nang University of Sports team. Mr. Cang also gave the team representative 2 million VND to "support the water" for the student players during practice and competition. It is known that he is a former student of Da Nang University of Sports, currently working as a teacher at an elementary school in Thu Duc City. "I always closely follow the information of the Danang University of Physical Education and Sports team at the THACO Cup 2025. When the team competes, I try to arrange to cheer. I want to contribute a little bit of my strength to encourage the team's spirit in time. Seeing the students competing enthusiastically on the field, I remember my own image many years ago. Hopefully, the team will continue to compete passionately, beautifully and fairly to go deep in the tournament," said Mr. Cang, adding that he will mobilize more alumni to cheer and continue to have gifts for the juniors.

The hot rewards here are not only material in meaning, but more importantly, they are great spiritual encouragement for the team, showing the special care of alumni for their old school.
