Around midday, in a pig farm located quite far from residential areas, Ms. Thi My Loan, residing in Xa Xia neighborhood, Ha Tien ward, An Giang province, was busy preparing to feed the pigs. In the clean pig pens were sows, fattening pigs, and pinkish-white piglets.
Previously, Ms. Thi My Loan's family was considered disadvantaged in the locality. Determined to overcome poverty, and with financial support from the Women's Union, she boldly invested in pig farming.

The Women's Union of the ward visited Ms. My Loan's pig farming model.
Thanks to her hard work and continuous learning, Ms. Loan's pig farming business has flourished. Currently, her family's pig herd consistently maintains over thirty animals. This model has helped Ms. Loan's family build a spacious house and provide their children with a good education.

Pig pens come in various types: piglets, sows, fattening pigs, and suckling pigs.
With her effective livestock farming model, Ms. Thi My Loan has truly become a shining example for many women, especially Khmer women in the area, in developing family economies and contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
