Recently, police officers and soldiers of Long Phuoc Ward Police Station in particular, and Binh Phuoc Provincial Police in general, have been racing against time to ensure the completion of the target of issuing 100% of citizen identification cards with chips to the people. During the course of their duties, many beautiful stories and images of police officers and soldiers have left a deep impression on the people.

Colonel Lam Van Long, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, along with leaders of the Phuoc Long Town Police, inspected and directed the work of updating records, cleaning up population data, and issuing Citizen Identification Cards at the Long Phuoc Ward Police Station during the peak period.

In Long Phuoc ward, those whose applications have not yet been processed are all in very difficult circumstances. Many citizens were transported to the ward police station by the ward police using their own vehicles to obtain their Citizen Identification Cards. A mobile team went to the homes of elderly and disabled people to process their Citizen Identification Card applications for 26 cases. The application processing process takes a long time because many citizens are seriously ill or elderly, making it difficult to take photos and collect fingerprints.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Em (91 years old) lives with her daughter in Ward 3, Long Phuoc Commune. For many years, she has suffered from joint pain in her legs, high blood pressure, and has been bedridden, relying on her children and grandchildren for all her daily activities. She was surprised and moved to receive visits from police officers who helped her obtain a Citizen Identification Card (CCCD). Although the procedure for her was more difficult than for other citizens, the officers and soldiers made every effort to complete it, ensuring all steps were followed according to regulations.

Police officers from Long Phuoc Ward Police Station, in coordination with the Administrative and Social Order Management Police Team of Phuoc Long Town Police, collected photos and fingerprints of Ms. Nguyen Thi Em at her home.

Another case is Mr. Pham Duy Hung (39 years old), who has a congenital disability and uses a wheelchair. He faces many difficulties in life, and knowing his family's circumstances, the officers and soldiers of the mobile police unit came to his house to collect the necessary documents and process the application for a Citizen Identification Card (CCCD). The family appreciated the thoughtfulness of the team members and expressed their deep gratitude. Mr. Pham Quang Du, Mr. Hung's father, emotionally shared: "On behalf of my family, I thank the police officers and soldiers of the ward for coming to process my son's CCCD. My son is ill and has difficulty walking, so the timely care and support from the police officers and soldiers has deeply moved and warmed our hearts."

Police officers from Long Phuoc Ward Police Station, in coordination with the Administrative and Social Order Management Police Team of Phuoc Long Town Police, collected photos at Mr. Pham Duy Hung's home to issue his Citizen Identification Card (CCCD).

In addition to proactively handling situations, officers and soldiers also incorporated public awareness campaigns about the benefits of citizen identification cards (CCCD), electronic identification accounts, and guided people on how to install and activate VNeID accounts on their smartphones. At the same time, they promptly answered questions to ensure people understood the benefits and role of CCCD and online public services correctly and completely.

Thanks to the prompt and proactive implementation, the Long Phuoc Ward Police, in coordination with the Phuoc Long Town Police's professional team, have completed 100% of the citizen ID card issuance; the management and cleaning of records are "accurate, complete, clean, and active," and the updating of records with changes on the computer is carried out by officers and soldiers in accordance with regulations. The installation of VNeID accounts for citizens has reached nearly 92% of the target, and efforts are continuing to promote and coordinate with relevant departments and localities to ensure the early completion of the assigned target.

During the implementation process, some difficulties and obstacles arose, such as the elderly and sick having difficulty traveling. The ward police proactively sent officers to people's homes to transport them to the office to apply for Citizen Identification Cards. Of the total 465 cases, 26 were elderly, disabled, or bedridden individuals. The ward police proactively advised the town's police leadership to direct the Administrative Management Team for Social Order to go to their homes to conduct mobile Citizen Identification Card issuance procedures and prioritized these policy beneficiaries, waiving the fee.

Lieutenant Colonel Luong Xuan Hai , Deputy Head of Long Phuoc Ward Police Station, Phuoc Long Town.
