Impressions of 3D Mapping movie "Da Nang Story"

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Da Nang City organized many meaningful activities. Notably, the 3D Mapping film screening with the theme "The Story of Da Nang" took place at the Da Nang Museum on the evening of April 29. This is the first time this technology has been screened outdoors in the city. Attending the screening were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

At exactly 7:30 p.m., the film was screened on the facade of the Da Nang Museum. Accordingly, the film consists of 3 consecutive parts, introducing the history of the city's formation and development throughout historical periods. Specifically, Part 1 is the Origin of Da Nang; Part 2 is the Epic of Struggle; and Part 3 is Rising Up. With the combination of sound, light, and visual effects, the film has recreated very realistically and vividly the historical - cultural - aspirational story of Da Nang's continuous development. Many people in the city, from young to old, were filled with emotions when watching such meaningful films.

This is also the first complete outdoor 3D Mapping film in Vietnam, different from 3D Mapping scenes in other programs and events. To have a work like this, under the direction of the Department of Culture and Sports, Da Nang Museum has coordinated with experts, scientists ; content and image consultants, directors, production team, equipment suppliers, thereby, promptly premiered to serve customers on the occasion of April 30 - May 1.

The 3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” is a deep gratitude of Da Nang city to its ancestors and generations. At the same time, it is also a new, attractive and impressive tourist attraction in the heart of the city, creating a strong spreading effect, contributing to promoting the image of the Han River city in general, as well as Da Nang Museum in particular, to visitors from near and far.
