At the meeting, Vice Chairman Bui Xuan Cuong emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is determined to be a pioneer in digital transformation, especially in the fieldof education .
Therefore, the city hopes that Google for Education will continue to participate in the digital transformation of the education sector to implement support programs for students and teachers such as training teachers to apply AI in teaching and school management; mobile digital classroom solutions; deploying AI virtual assistant solutions for students with disabilities to support them in their learning and daily activities...
Mr. Tim Paolini said he was impressed with the implementation of digital transformation in Ho Chi Minh City as well as the strong efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in digital transformation of the education sector.
The meeting aimed to review one year of cooperation after Google for Education officially submitted a letter of commitment to support the digital transformation of education in Ho Chi Minh City, and at the same time propose a coordination strategy for Google for Education in the coming time.
Accordingly, this unit proposed that in the next 5 years, it will focus on 4 main focuses in cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh City education and training sector in 4 areas: improving teacher capacity; promoting digital transformation with artificial intelligence (AI); deploying a comprehensive data management system and connecting international resources.
