NDO – The annual International Francophonie Day celebration has become a festival for French speakers and French lovers in Vietnam.

On the evening of March 20, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated with the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) to organize a celebration of International Francophone Day (March 3). Attending the ceremony, on the Vietnamese side, there were comrades: Nguyen Thuy Anh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Social Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Vietnam chapter in the Francophone Parliamentary Union; Do Hung Viet, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen Phuong Nga, former President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, along with former leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of departments, ministries, branches and localities.

On the international guests side, there were: Mr. Edgar Doerig, representative of the Asia-Pacific region of OIF; Mr. Pierre du Ville, Head of the Wallonia-Bruxelles Delegation to Vietnam, Chairman of the Group of Francophone Ambassadors in Hanoi (GADIF) and other ambassadors, heads of delegations and representatives of many diplomatic agencies in Hanoi.
