NDO - With the desire to provide additional knowledge to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, to encourage them not to become discouraged and drop out of school due to poor academic performance, and to create enthusiasm for learning, teacher couple Mai Van Chuyen and Vu Thi Nhung in Hiep Hung village, Quang Hiep commune, Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, teachers at Ngo May Secondary School in the remote Ea M'Droh commune, Cu M'gar district, built a "House of Wisdom" right on their family's land.

In addition, there is a Charity Bookcase here with over 2,000 books of various genres, where both students and parents can freely come to read or borrow books to take home and enhance their knowledge.

At the House of Wisdom, children have the opportunity to study, read books, acquire life skills, and participate in free sports activities, helping them gain more confidence, knowledge, and determination to excel in their studies and lives.

House of Wisdom

To date, in Dak Lak province, only the "House of Wisdom" model, created by Mr. Chuyen in Quang Hiep commune, exists. Despite facing many difficulties, Mr. Chuyen and his wife aspire to continue developing the "House of Wisdom" into a lifelong learning space for students and local residents. In the future, Mr. Chuyen also plans to open free computer classes for veterans, farmers, and workers in local businesses, while simultaneously creating an entrepreneurial environment for local youth.

Below are images and activities that take place daily and weekly at the House of Wisdom of Mr. Mai Van Chuyen and Mrs. Vu Thi Nhung:
