Apple unexpectedly released iOS 18.0.1

According to Apple's notes, the iOS 18.0.1 update addresses issues related to the touchscreen, camera, and Messages app.

Specifically, this update provides important bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone, including:

- The touchscreen may become temporarily unresponsive in certain situations on iPhone 16 and 16 Pro.

- The camera may freeze when recording macro mode video on the ultra-wide lens at 4K resolution with HDR turned off on iPhone 16 Pro models.

- Messages may unexpectedly exit when replying to a message using a shared Apple Watch face.

According to information from Macrumors, since iOS 18 was released, many users have complained about the above problem. In addition, the iPadOS 18 update is not available for iPad Pro M4 models because it breaks some devices.

That's why Apple has released a new update to fix serious bugs. Users can update the new software over the air on eligible iPhones and iPads by going to Settings - General - Software Update.
