This speculation is entirely plausible, especially considering DeepSeek's popularity and performance. Apple has used ChatGPT for Apple Intelligence, and they could do the same with DeepSeek in China. In fact, a Weibo user posted information suggesting that Apple is considering integrating DeepSeek into iOS 19, not only for the Chinese market but also for the US and Europe, after addressing security and privacy issues.

While it's unclear whether this information is accurate, using DeepSeek for the Chinese version of Apple Intelligence is a logical idea. Apple may not release DeepSeek internationally immediately, but they have confirmed they will add other chatbots to Apple Intelligence after ChatGPT.
