According to reports, while product lines like the iMac and MacBook Pro only receive chip upgrades without major design changes, the new Mac mini M4 will be the highlight of this launch.

This marks the first major visual redesign of Apple's Mac mini line in 14 years. The Mac mini M4 is expected to abandon the traditional USB-A port, replacing it entirely with five USB-C ports, aligning with current technological trends and meeting the needs of modern users. Notably, 16GB of RAM will become standard on all new Mac models, including the 14-inch MacBook Pro.

The Mac mini will be Apple's smallest computer to date, even smaller than its predecessor.

Furthermore, the Mac mini M4 is predicted to be Apple's most compact computer ever. According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, Apple's suppliers have begun shipping standard Mac mini M4 models to warehouses this month, while M4 Pro versions will begin shipping in October.

Furthermore, Apple will also comply with the European Union (EU) order to switch to USB-C ports on iMac accessories. This is a necessary move as new EU regulations require all technology devices sold in the EU market to use USB-C ports from the end of 2024.

Apple is also expected to make 16GB of RAM the standard for all of these new Mac models, including the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
