Ms. Bui Thi Minh was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the People's Council of Hoa Binh province.

On February 6th, the 25th session (Special Session) of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council, 17th term, 2021-2026, took place with many important contents.

At the session, the Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council, Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong, emphasized that the session is taking place at a time when Party committees, governments, the business community, and the people are making efforts to implement many positive solutions to overcome difficulties, promote production and business, ensure social welfare, national defense, and security, striving to achieve the socio -economic development goals set for the first quarter of 2025, ensuring social welfare, national defense, and security.

The Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council also requested that the provincial People's Council delegates uphold a high sense of responsibility, utilize their intellect, promote unity and democracy, dedicate time to studying documents, provide opinions, and clearly express their views on each content, focusing on issues where there are differing opinions, creating a high level of consensus so that the Provincial People's Council can make correct decisions that meet the requirements and aspirations of voters and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

At the session, the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure for nominating and electing Ms. Bui Thi Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and a member of the 17th Provincial People's Council, as the Chairperson of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, with 53 out of 53 votes in favor, achieving 100%.

The Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council dismissed Mr. Bui Tien Luc and Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha from their positions as Head and Deputy Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the 17th term of the Provincial People's Council. Simultaneously, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha was elected as Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council with 53 out of 53 votes in favor, achieving 100%.

At the session, the Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council passed resolutions on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; a resolution on the determination of civil servant staffing in state administrative agencies in 2025; and a resolution on the termination of the activities of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh affirmed that, after a period of work carried out with urgency, democracy, and responsibility to the voters and people of the province, the 25th Session of the 17th Hoa Binh Provincial People's Council has completed its agenda. She also requested that the comrades elected to leadership positions in the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term continue to uphold the tradition of unity and solidarity, utilize their intellect and work experience, and successfully fulfill the new tasks entrusted to them by the Party, government, and people.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh, born in 1976, hails from Gia Hung commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and advanced political theory qualifications. She has previously served as Head of the Organization Department of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee; and Secretary of the Cao Phong District Party Committee…

* Previously, on February 5th, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee held the 19th Conference of the Provincial Party Committee, 17th term, 2020-2025. At that conference, Ms. Bui Thi Minh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term with an absolute majority of votes.
