"Uncle Ho in the hearts of the people"

From May 3rd to 31st, the Vietnam National Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village (Hanoi) will host a series of cultural and artistic events with the theme "Uncle Ho in the Hearts of the People". The program celebrates the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and the 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2026).

Highlights include folk song and dance programs such as "Viet Bac Remembers Uncle Ho," "May Gifts for Uncle Ho," and "Uncle Ho's Gratitude to the People of the Central Highlands"... The photo exhibition "Uncle Ho in the Hearts of the People" showcases approximately 50 photos combined with artifacts, books, and newspapers about the life of President Ho Chi Minh. Cultural activities such as the "Remembering the Indigo Robe" event recreates the rituals of praying for peace and warding off misfortune of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups (Thai Nguyen province); reenacting daily life through traditional handicraft demonstrations, introducing cuisine , and connecting tourists through folk games...
