Timely support
For many years now, as a noble and regular practice, at the end of the year, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has implemented a plan to mobilize support for the "For the Poor" fund, ensuring that no one is left behind. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and their member organizations have leveraged the strength of national unity, mobilizing all resources to effectively carry out social welfare work and gradually improve the lives of the people.

Located in the Cam Son Lake basin, Son Hai commune currently has 7.38% of its households living in poverty. Due to their predominantly island settlements along the lake's edge, the lives of the people remain difficult. Based on this reality, the commune's Fatherland Front Committee has prioritized direct support for families facing particularly difficult circumstances. During the fundraising efforts, village-level Fatherland Front officials provide detailed information about each family's specific needs. Many businesses and benevolent individuals have supported poor households with practical gifts such as food, household goods, plant seeds, livestock, and solidarity houses. Mr. Hoang Van Phoong, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, said: “Based on the list of poor households, the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune directly mobilizes agencies, units, businesses, and benevolent individuals to provide support. Member organizations of the Fatherland Front such as the Women's Union and the Youth Union of the commune send members to help with labor, build savings fund boxes to support food... For many years now, 100% of poor and near-poor households in the commune have received Tet gifts from mobilized resources.”
At the same time, mass organizations under the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also joined hands to help poor households through many practical forms. In November 2025, at the "Power of Humanity" program, the Provincial Red Cross Society supported 13 breeding cows worth 234 million VND for poor households and provided monthly support to 21 families with particularly difficult circumstances in Hiep Hoa, Hoang Van, and Xuan Cam communes, ranging from 500,000 VND to 3 million VND per month. Ms. Le Thi Dong, a poor household in Xuan Cam commune, shared: "Receiving breeding cows, animal feed, and dedicated guidance on how to care for the livestock, my family will focus on raising livestock and poultry to increase the herd size and gradually escape poverty and stabilize our lives."
A noble deed
Over the past period, the "For the Poor" fund has truly become a bridge between donors and the poor, where the love of compassionate people is connected and spread. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, stated: “The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have been actively connecting units, businesses, and individuals with poor households. This strengthens the bond between units and people, avoids duplication or omissions, and gives households more motivation to improve their lives. In particular, the transparency of fundraising results builds trust among agencies and businesses, encouraging them to continue contributing to the fund. In 2025, due to the severe impact of storms and floods, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province will continue to focus on supporting poor households with plant seeds, livestock, food, and household supplies to restore production.” A common thread in the Fatherland Front's activities is thorough preparation. Before implementation, the Fatherland Front at all levels surveys the actual needs of the people and organizations, and then mobilizes appropriate resources. This approach not only enhances the effectiveness of support but also awakens the sense of responsibility of businesses, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the province.

Through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, many units directly register support activities with specific addresses. Weekly, the Provincial Business Association organizes free porridge distribution for poor patients at Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1, Bac Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital No. 1, and the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital.
