In the first quarter of 2026, Bac Ninh province continued to maintain stable development, achieving many positive results in the economic, cultural, and social fields. Social welfare work, care for war veterans and beneficiaries of social protection programs were implemented effectively; education and healthcare continued to receive attention and improved quality. Activities to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Kinh Bac were intensified. National defense and security, and social order and safety continued to be maintained. The living standards of the people continued to improve.
To ensure that the 2026 Humanitarian Month is truly practical and widely impactful, Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha suggested that all levels, sectors, and localities continue to innovate and diversify their propaganda work, utilizing the strengths of digital platforms to spread humanitarian values in the community.
Red Cross branches at all levels need to improve the efficiency of mobilizing, managing, and utilizing humanitarian resources in a transparent and open manner; strengthen the development of Red Cross operational funds at all levels; innovate assistance methods towards sustainability, linking support with livelihood creation, poverty reduction, and community development. Simultaneously, they should enhance the application of information technology and digital transformation in humanitarian activities. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee should play a core role in gathering, coordinating, and unifying the actions of political and social organizations and social forces participating in humanitarian work; integrate humanitarian activities with the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, contributing to consolidating national unity and ensuring sustainable social security.
