| The livestream promoting the sale of Tan Khanh hill chickens and other OCOP products from the province attracted thousands of viewers and orders. |
Simply searching for the phrase "selling Thai Nguyen tea" online quickly yields thousands of business listings. On platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Zalo, many businesses, cooperatives, and agricultural producers in the province have proactively built their own sales channels. Numerous pages attract tens of thousands of followers, contributing to market expansion and increased product sales.
Ms. Ha Thi Dinh, from Tien Phong hamlet, Van Han commune, said: "Every year, my family supplies about 1 ton of dried tea leaves to the market. Thanks to applying safe production processes, our tea products have gradually built a reputation with consumers. To expand sales, I proactively introduce and sell my products on Facebook and TikTok, gradually building a stable customer base in many provinces and cities. When an order comes in, customers only need to provide their contact information, and I pack, ship the goods, and receive the remaining payment."
To help people familiarize themselves with new business methods, over the past three years, the Provincial Trade Promotion Center has organized livestream sessions selling custard apples for residents of La Hien and Vo Nhai districts. Each session attracted millions of viewers and buyers.
Mr. Hoang Anh Giang, from Mo Ga hamlet, Vo Nhai commune, said: "Through livestreaming, consumers can directly follow the process of planting, caring for, and harvesting custard apples right in the garden, thereby building trust and interest in the product. This form of promotion helps custard apples become more widely known, the number of orders increases steadily, and reduces consumption pressure during the peak season."

| Agricultural products from Thai Nguyen are being sold through diverse channels, ranging from trade fairs to social media platforms and e-commerce marketplaces. |
Recently, on December 13th, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance organized a livestream on its fanpage, the Thai Nguyen Agricultural Extension, Environment and Market fanpage, and the fanpages of streamers and participating businesses to connect consumers with Tan Khanh hill chicken products and other OCOP products of the province. After 3.5 hours of broadcasting, the program reached and interacted with approximately 12,000 people, successfully closing many online orders.
Currently, Thai Nguyen has nearly 570 OCOP products along with thousands of other agricultural products. Therefore, promoting the consumption of agricultural products plays a particularly important role. Selling through social media platforms, especially livestreaming, is opening up a new direction for agricultural product consumption in the province. This method helps farmers be more proactive in terms of sales, while gradually acquiring business skills in the digital environment, contributing to reducing the problem of bumper harvests but low added value.
However, for stable and sustainable consumption of agricultural products, building reputation and brand recognition remains a key factor. Mr. Nguyen Ta, Head of the Provincial Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection, stated that farmers need to strictly adhere to safe production processes to ensure the quality of agricultural products and meet inspection requirements.
The application of digital technology in product promotion and consumption contributes to realizing the goal of digital transformation in agriculture and rural areas. Alongside support from relevant authorities, people need to proactively innovate their thinking and be flexible in their sales methods to improve efficiency, while also increasing vigilance and clearly identifying risks and fraudulent schemes when participating in online business.
