From January 5th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the College of Radio and Television II ( Vietnam Voice Radio ) is organizing a special cultural and journalistic event titled "Spring Newspaper Colors 2026 - Exhibition of newspapers from 34 provinces and cities".
The event is one of the school's activities to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and welcome the Year of the Horse, creating a unique cultural and historical space for the public, especially generations of journalism and communication students, to continue the tradition, keep the passion for the profession alive, and practice journalism with youthful vitality in the new era.

The highlight of the event is the exhibition "The Picture of Vietnamese Journalism - A New Era: Newspaper Masts of 34 Provinces and Cities". Alongside this is a display area featuring newspaper publications representing the 34 newly established administrative units (issues published in early July 2025).
The press publications from 34 provinces and cities were prominently displayed, painting a comprehensive and vibrant picture of the face of local journalism in the new era, serving as valuable documentation reflecting the profound changes in the country's social and information structure.

On this occasion, visitors can admire rare and valuable newspaper editions from the collection of collector Huynh Minh Hiep, Deputy Head of the UNESCO Office for Research and Conservation of Vietnamese Antiquities. Particularly noteworthy is the Gia Dinh Newspaper, the first newspaper printed in the Vietnamese Quốc ngữ script, issue 35, published on September 2, 1890, along with many original and restored editions of revolutionary newspapers published before 1945, and representative newspapers of the Vietnamese revolutionary press published during the resistance wars and the process of national construction and defense.
