Ensuring high quality preparations for the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress

On September 30, at the Presidential Palace, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress chaired the 2nd meeting of the Organizing Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice President emphasized that the Patriotic Emulation Congress is an important political event, an opportunity to call upon, encourage and create momentum for all classes of people and the entire political system to successfully implement the major policies of the Party and State.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan noted that there is not much time left to prepare for the National Patriotic Emulation Congress, so the subcommittees and relevant units should review all work, uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively carry out assigned tasks, and ensure thorough, high-quality, and serious preparation for the Congress to take place successfully.

Commenting on the draft report summarizing emulation and commendation work, the Vice President requested to highlight a special term with major and important events and policies of the Party and State such as: streamlining the organization, two-level local government, Party building and rectification work; movements such as: 500kV power line project, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; gratitude policy; foreign affairs achievements...

In addition, the report must be concise and condensed, highlighting the spirit of patriotic emulation, breaking away from the beaten track, summarizing new, profound and valuable lessons; at the same time, clearly defining directions and visions, clearly demonstrating the role of emulation and reward work in creating motivation, urging, calling and inspiring the entire political system and people to carry out tasks.

The Vice President requested that units fully absorb opinions, promptly complete the content, and report to the Organizing Committee and the Central Emulation and Reward Council as soon as possible, ensuring that preparations for the National Patriotic Emulation Congress are on schedule and of high quality.

Before that, delegates heard reports on the organization of emulation congresses at all levels and preparations for the 11th National Emulation Congress.

According to the report, by the end of August 2025, ministries, branches and localities had basically completed the Congresses (or conferences) at the grassroots and above levels, with rich and diverse forms of organization, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and major holidays in 2025.

In general, the Patriotic Emulation Congresses at all levels were organized to ensure the content, progress, goals and requirements set out. In addition to summarizing and evaluating the patriotic emulation movement and the commendation work in the past five years, the Patriotic Emulation Congress set out directions and tasks for the coming period; selected, commended and honored typical examples, new factors, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the fields of economy , culture, society, security, national defense...

Propaganda work is given attention, especially in the media, creating a competitive atmosphere among the people and encouraging and setting examples of advanced models.

The work of introducing delegates to attend the higher-level patriotic emulation congress was carried out in accordance with regulations. Party and State leaders and members of the Central Emulation and Reward Council took the time to attend and direct, contributing to the success of the congress.
