Barcelona big bonus

According to Mundo Deportivo , Barcelona exceeded their projected revenue last season by 62 million euros, 44 million euros higher than the previous season. A large part of this success was due to a new sponsorship deal with Nike and performance bonuses from Champions League matches.

The bulk of the €62m will be used to reward coach Hansi Flick and his players. AS said Barcelona's coaching staff will each receive an additional €20,000 for winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey, after receiving €10,000 for winning the Spanish Super Cup.

Earlier, at a club party, President Laporta also announced that all employees will receive double their salary in June to recognize their efforts in the 2024/25 season.

The Barcelona squad also gets to share in the aforementioned bonuses. On average, each player gets around 1.25 million euros in bonuses. The total bonus pool is up to 25 million euros.

In addition, 1 million euros will be divided between the technical staff at Camp Nou and 2 million euros for the team in other areas.

This summer, Barcelona has chosen Asia as the destination for their pre-season preparations. The team will face Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul and Daegu FC over an eight-day period.

AS says the Catalan giants will earn a minimum of €15m from the trip, a figure that could rise to €20m depending on other factors such as prize money and sponsorship.
