Striving to improve the effectiveness of social policy credit.

On the afternoon of January 28th, the People's Committee of Ha Giang 2 Ward held a conference to summarize the activities of social policy credit in 2025 and to implement tasks for 2026. Attending the conference were: Mr. Vang Seo Con, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Giang 2 Ward; and Ms. Pham Thi Hoa, Deputy Director of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Branch of the Social Policy Bank and concurrently Director of the Ha Giang Branch of the Social Policy Bank.

Leaders of Ha Giang 2 ward and leaders of the Social Policy Bank presented Certificates of Commendation to individuals who have achieved outstanding results in credit activities.

In 2025, Ha Giang 2 ward proactively arranged 5 transaction points for the Ha Giang Social Policy Bank branch, ensuring uninterrupted policy credit operations and facilitating access to preferential loans for residents. Policy credit funds were deployed to 100% of residential areas, promptly meeting the borrowing needs of poor households and policy beneficiaries to develop production, create jobs, and improve their living standards. By the end of 2025, 15 social policy credit programs were implemented in the ward, with a total outstanding loan balance of 151,470 million VND, benefiting 1,621 households.

Based on the assessment, the quality of credit is generally assured, with low levels of overdue and non-performing loans. The ward has 62 savings and loan groups, of which 61 are rated as good. The mobilization of savings deposits has yielded positive results, with a total deposit amount of 5,831 million VND through these groups. By 2025, 1,618 households, accounting for 19.4% of the ward's total households, will have access to preferential loans for investment in production, business, housing construction, clean water and sanitation, education, and job creation.

At the conference, delegates shared lessons learned in improving the effectiveness of social policy credit and proposed solutions for implementing tasks in the coming period. Specifically, in 2026, Ha Giang 2 ward aims to achieve 100% of its planned targets, with a minimum loan growth of 20%, equivalent to over 30 billion VND; and to complete the target of mobilizing savings from residents, with each Savings and Loan Group mobilizing a minimum of 50 million VND. The ward will continue to consolidate and maintain 100% of Savings and Loan Groups rated as good or excellent, with at least 40 members. It will also improve the quality of operations at the ward's transaction points, striving for a transaction rate of over 98% and full interest collection on 100% of monthly loan disbursements.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang 2 Ward awarded Certificates of Commendation to 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in credit activities; the associations and organizations of Ha Giang 2 Ward also awarded prizes to Savings and Loan Groups with outstanding achievements in policy credit activities in 2025.
