Base.vn has a new General Director

Director ofFPT .AI Artificial Intelligence Product Block of FPT Smart Cloud was appointed as CEO of Base.vn

Mr. Pham Kim Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Nguyen Thuong Tuong Minh, CEO of Base.vn

Base.vn, Vietnam's leading enterprise management platform, has just announced a change in senior personnel. Accordingly, founder Pham Kim Hung continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Thuong Tuong Minh, Director of Artificial Intelligence Products at FPT.AI, one of the first AI platforms in Vietnam (belonging to FPT Smart Cloud Company Limited) was appointed as General Director.

Having two top leaders who are both engineers directly working on products and have technological strengths shows Base.vn's reaffirmation of focusing on product development and innovation, maintaining the orientation of a product-centric company.

Mr. Nguyen Thuong Tuong Minh was born in 1987 and has been with FPT Corporation since 2012. Mr. Minh was in charge of the AI division of FPT Corporation's Technology Department, then held the position of Director of FPT.AI Artificial Intelligence Product Block, under FPT Smart Cloud Company Limited from 2021-2023. Along with Mr. Minh taking on the executive role, Mr. Pham Kim Hung - founder of Base.vn continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Base.vn, playing the role of guiding the company's vision and focusing on plans to enter the international market.

The addition of senior leadership resources is expected to help Base.vn improve its technological capabilities, accelerate the completion of the ecosystem of digital transformation solutions for businesses, continue to serve hundreds of thousands of domestic SMEs; demonstrate the synergy of FPT and Base.vn in developing SaaS products to maintain the No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market and expand to the international market in the future.

Established in August 2016, Base.vn is positioned as a product-focused company. Under the leadership of Mr. Pham Kim Hung, this unit has built and developed 4 sets of solutions for business management and operation, solving different problems in organizational operations, currently accompanying more than 8,000 customers. In May 2021, FPT officially announced its strategic investment in Base.vn. After nearly 2 years since joining FPT Corporation, Base.vn announced a three-fold increase in revenue and expanded its staff to 400 people.
