
Attending the closing ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy , Head of the Steering Committee for the Festival; Mr. Lam Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Khanh Hoa ; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Khanh Hoa, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for the Festival; leaders of departments, divisions, and institutes (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); and leaders of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the 7 participating localities.
After three days (June 26-28) of vibrant cultural, artistic, sporting , and community exchange activities, the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in Khanh Hoa province in 2026 successfully completed its planned objectives and left a deep impression on the people, locals, and tourists.
One of the highlights of the festival was the convergence of diverse Cham cultural colors from provinces and cities across the country. Each activity told a story, a unique beauty, contributing to honoring the Cham ethnic cultural identity and spreading the spirit of unity among the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.

In his concluding remarks at the festival, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Nguyen Long Bien, said: The festival brought together 7 provinces and cities including Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang , Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City, with more than 1,000 artisans, artists, actors, and amateur athletes participating in performances and introducing traditional cultural values.
The essence of Cham culture is clearly expressed through the unique art and sports programs of each locality, such as: folk art festivals, Cham ethnic costume performances, competitions in traditional sports and games, tourism activities, and exhibitions showcasing traditional handicrafts…

The success of the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in Khanh Hoa province in 2026 was not only demonstrated through the rich series of activities and the participation of numerous artisans, artists, actors, and amateur athletes, but also in spreading cultural values, honoring heritage, and widely conveying the message about preserving and promoting ethnic cultural identity to the community, receiving the attention and support of the people and tourists.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province emphasized that this is also one of the practical activities contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026, of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture; building and developing an advanced culture in Khanh Hoa, rich in national identity, and unified in diversity.
At the same time, it contributes to enhancing the role of culture, including the culture of the Cham ethnic group, as a spiritual foundation, endogenous resource, and important driving force for rapid and sustainable development, towards the goal of building Khanh Hoa into a centrally-governed city.

The festival left a positive impression, deeply meaningful in honoring the cultural, artistic, sporting, tourism, and traditional handicraft values of the Cham people within the great family of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
Through this festival, the unique values of Cham culture continue to be introduced and widely promoted to the public both domestically and internationally; contributing to raising awareness among all levels, sectors, and the community about the responsibility to preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage.
In addition, the festival has created momentum to promote the development of cultural tourism, cultural industries, and traditional crafts associated with the lives of the Cham people in the new era.
The leaders of Khanh Hoa province affirmed that the achievements from this festival will continue to be an important foundation for strengthening unity and solidarity among ethnic groups; strongly spreading the beautiful cultural values of the Cham people as well as cultural exchange and connection within the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

At the same time, it contributes to the effective implementation of the Party and State's guidelines and policies on cultural development; preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities; building a healthy cultural environment; developing culture in conjunction with tourism, creative economy and digital transformation, and successfully achieving the goals set forth in Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
To conclude the festival, a large number of people and tourists enjoyed a spectacular artistic performance program presented by various amateur art troupes: "Moon Riverbank" (Ho Chi Minh City), "Cham People's Joyful Festival" (Tay Ninh), "Soul of the Land Dance" (Lam Dong), "Spring Weaving Dance" (Gia Lai), "Ancient Tale Song" (Dak Lak), "Ginang Drum - Drum of Peace" (Khanh Hoa)...




Also at the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee handed over the flag for hosting the 7th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2031 to An Giang province.
