(QNO) - On January 27th, during a visit to present Tet gifts to revolutionary veterans and disadvantaged families, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, along with a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, laid flowers and offered incense at the Zone 5 Party Committee historical site (Song Tra commune, Hiep Duc district), the Huynh Thuc Khang Memorial House (Tien Canh commune, Tien Phuoc district), and the Phan Chau Trinh Memorial House (Tam Loc commune, Phu Ninh district).
At the Zone 5 Party Committee historical site, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the delegation, along with leaders of the Hiep Duc District Party Committee, laid flowers and offered incense to pay tribute to the late Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong; visited artifacts related to the revolutionary activities of Comrade Vo Chi Cong; and offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the memorial monument of the Zone 5 Party Committee Office.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, along with the Provincial Party Committee delegation and leaders of Tien Phuoc District Party Committee, also came to lay flowers and offer incense in remembrance of Mr. Huynh Thuc Khang and his parents' graves within the grounds of the Huynh Thuc Khang Memorial House.
Later that afternoon, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, along with a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of Phu Ninh District Party Committee, and Tam Loc commune, laid flowers and offered incense to pay tribute to the patriotic scholar Phan Chau Trinh at the Phan Chau Trinh Memorial House. The leaders observed a moment of silence to remember and express gratitude for Phan Chau Trinh's contributions to the nation's revolutionary cause.
Writing in the guest book, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet expressed: “On the occasion of welcoming the Year of the Dragon 2024 and celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - Provincial People's Council - Provincial People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province visited the memorial house of patriot Phan Chau Trinh.
The Party Committee, Government, and People of Quang Nam Province are always proud to be the homeland of the revolutionary patriot Phan Chau Trinh, who made many contributions to paving the way for independence, freedom, and the development of Vietnam. We will always cherish the motto "Enlighten the people's minds - Strengthen the people's spirit - Improve the people's lives" that he always nurtured and was determined to implement during his lifetime.
On this occasion, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the Provincial Party Committee delegation visited, encouraged, and extended New Year greetings to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and officials of Phu Ninh district.
