Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai visited and congratulated the Khmer people on Sen Dolta festival.

On the afternoon of September 18, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai visited and presented gifts to celebrate Sen Dolta festival at the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monivongsa Pagoda (An Xuyen ward). Provincial leaders sent their best wishes to monks and Buddhists, and acknowledged the Khmer people's contributions to socio-economic development, maintaining security and order, and building the community's cultural life.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai presented gifts to the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks and Nuns.

Sen Dolta Festival is one of the major festivals of the year for the Khmer people, with the same meaning as Vu Lan Festival, expressing respect to deceased ancestors.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet wished monks, Buddhists and Khmer people a joyful and happy Sen Dolta festival; at the same time, affirmed that the provincial leaders always acknowledge and highly appreciate the contributions of Khmer people in implementing emulation movements, especially sustainable poverty reduction, contributing to the successful implementation of socio -economic development goals, maintaining security and order and building cultural life in the community.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet hopes that in the coming time, monks, nuns, Buddhists, and Khmer people will continue to promote their achievements and join hands to build a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.

Venerable Thach Ha, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Buddhist Monks, thanked Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai and the delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their attention, visit and gifts on the occasion of Sen Dolta festival of the Khmer ethnic people.

Venerable Thach Ha said that the Provincial Association for Solidarity of Patriotic Buddhist Monks always encourages Buddhists to live in solidarity, closely implement policies and live a "good life - good religion", strictly comply with the provisions of the law, and accompany the Party and State in building the homeland.
