According to initial information, at around 3 PM on the same day, residents discovered a large fire at a foam manufacturing factory on Canal 10 Road (Hamlet 1, Tan Nhut Commune, Binh Chanh District) and shouted to alert those inside to evacuate.

Upon discovering the fire, workers and nearby residents pulled out water hoses to extinguish it, but without success. Due to the presence of flammable materials, the flames spread rapidly, erupting fiercely, and thick black smoke billowed into the air.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Binh Chanh District and the Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park Firefighting Team dispatched numerous specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate firefighting efforts.
