Although she didn't directly mention anyone, many viewers believe the cải lương (Vietnamese traditional opera) artist is referring to the controversy surrounding her adoptive father's family.

Due to their busy touring schedules, Binh Tinh and Vu Luan also held a 100-day memorial service for Meritorious Artist Vu Linh in France. Despite their busy touring schedule, both wore mourning headscarves and cherished the portrait of their adoptive father, which moved many people.

After returning to Vietnam, Binh Tinh also took the time to visit Hong Loan's home to encourage her – the daughter of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh.

Following the death of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh, his family experienced numerous disagreements, ranging from issues with funeral livestream contracts and the handling of funeral donations to property disputes. Hong Phuong, Vu Linh's niece, became the target of criticism when several videos surfaced alleging that she was unclear about financial matters and intended to compete for the inheritance with Hong Loan, the late artist's daughter.

During a press conference, Hong Phuong explained the media contract for her uncle Vu Linh's funeral. She stated that she had discussed the matter with Binh Tinh and Ms. Nga (who had cared for the late artist for over 10 years) before signing the contract. She did not consult Hong Loan because she believed that Ms. Loan lacked expertise in the arts.
