The Ministry of Public Security establishes the Cardiovascular Institute.

On February 6th, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security to establish the Cardiovascular Institute under the 19-8 Hospital. On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam sent a congratulatory floral arrangement.

Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc presented the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding the establishment of the Cardiovascular Institute under the 19-8 Hospital.

According to the establishment decision, the Cardiovascular Institute under the 19-8 Hospital is a public service unit responsible for assisting the hospital director in organizing and implementing health protection, care, examination, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, playing a leading role in the field of cardiology within the people's police medical system.

The Institute of Cardiology serves as the focal point for the transfer of technology, technical support, and professional guidance on the examination, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases for police officers, soldiers, and the general public, as stipulated by regulations.
