On June 9.6, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien worked with a specialized inspection team to direct the implementation of the inspection of EVN and related units in the management and supply of electricity, in accordance with the contents of the Prime Minister's dispatch.
Specifically, the specialized inspection team of the Ministry of Industry and Trade includes leaders of units of the ministry, including: Electricity Regulatory Authority, Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Department of Safety Techniques and Industrial Environment, Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry Inspector, Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Petroleum and Coal.
Starting tomorrow, June 10.6, the delegation will begin to inspect the provisions of the law on electricity supply and management of EVN from January 1.1.2021, 1.6.2023 to June 30, XNUMX. The inspection period lasts XNUMX days, including holidays.
At the meeting with the inspection team, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien said that in recent days there has been a power supply interruption that affects the production of businesses and people's lives.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the role of state management, since the end of 2022, has issued many guiding documents and had many briefings related to this year's electricity supply such as the chart of coal, oil and gas supply for power production and the electricity supply plan.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has drastically directed the implementation of coal supply for power plants of thermal power plants, which has contributed to improving the situation of electricity supply.
However, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien also emphasized that in order to have a power shortage for any reason, it is necessary to clarify the cause and find a solution to overcome it in the near future.
Mr. Dien asked the inspection team to clarify the supply and take the initiative in fuel for power plants; operate the power system; mobilizing power sources (technically), fairness; power transmission problems; mobilizing transitional renewable energy sources.
The Minister of Industry and Trade assigned Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan to directly direct the inspection and asked members of the delegation to focus and give priority to the work; working continuously even on holidays to ensure progress, quality and inspection results.
