This year's exam had the participation of 187 candidates from provinces and cities across the country, with 5 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics.
The exam results selected the following teams:
In Mathematics, a team of 6 candidates was selected to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

The 2024 International Mathematical Olympiad team won 6 Certificates of Merit and Medals. |
In Physics, a team of 8 candidates was selected to participate in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO).
In Chemistry, a team of 4 candidates was selected to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO).
Biology, a team of 4 candidates was selected to participate in the International Biology Olympiad (IBIO).
In Informatics, a team of 5 candidates was selected to participate in the Asia- Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO).

The national team selection exam for international and regional Olympic competitions is held to discover and nurture young talents to represent Vietnam in international competitions.
The candidates' achievements not only affirm the quality of Vietnam's leading education but also create motivation for the movement of learning and scientific research among students nationwide.
The Ministry of Education and Training will continue to coordinate with relevant units to organize intensive review and training activities to help students best prepare for upcoming international and regional Olympic competitions.
