This is the largest high-level multilateral event on green growth hosted by Vietnam in the 2021-2026 period. The conference brings together senior leaders, representatives of international organizations, businesses and leading experts from around the world to promote innovative solutions for sustainable development and climate change response.
Within the framework of the conference, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) will chair three key activities, focusing on the role of science, technology and innovation in promoting green transformation and sustainable growth.
Specifically, from April 15 to 17, the Ministry of Science and Technology will organize an Exhibition on Green Growth, introducing initiatives, advanced technologies and typical start-up models in the green sector. This exhibition will be a special highlight of the conference, with the prominent participation of green innovative start-ups - pioneers in integrating innovation into sustainable development solutions. A number of Vietnamese enterprises participating in the exhibition have also received financial and technical support from P4G in projects responding to climate change.
The opening ceremony of the Exhibition will take place on April 16, with the participation of senior leaders of Vietnam and P4G partner countries, along with representatives of international organizations, businesses and organizations working together in the field of green growth.
Also on April 16, the Ministry of Science and Technology will organize a policy dialogue forum with the theme "Encouraging investment, business and promoting innovative startups in the field of green transformation and sustainable development". The forum will create a space for connecting policy makers, investors, experts and businesses to discuss models and mechanisms to support innovation, green startups and build a sustainable development ecosystem in Vietnam.
The P4G Vietnam Summit 2025 takes place from April 14 to 17, 2025.
Closing the series of activities, on April 17, there will be a Ministerial Discussion Session chaired by Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung, with the theme: "Breakthrough technology for green transformation and sustainable development in the smart era". This discussion session will focus on three main areas: applying artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization in reducing emissions and optimizing resources; enhancing public-private cooperation to promote innovation; and solutions to overcome technical, infrastructure, and data security barriers in the green transformation process.
As the agency presiding over three key activities at P4G 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology continues to affirm its central position in connecting knowledge, technology and innovation, contributing to realizing Vietnam's sustainable development and green transformation goals./.
