The Minister said that the development of the Law on Teachers in the near future could bring positive institutional changes to the industry and create equality between the public and private education sectors. First of all, treat and behave equally, promote the non-public system to share, so that society can enjoy a more diverse education.
The Ministry will continue to recommend and work with ministries and sectors on increasing preferential allowances, finding ways to increase teachers' incomes, finding ways to strengthen facilities, and improve working conditions of teachers. teachers.
In addition, the ministry also implemented solutions to take care of special groups in remote and isolated areas, so that the innovations the industry is doing do not lead to increasing inequality in access to education.
On the other hand, the ministry is also rushing to adjust Decree 116 in the training of teachers and recruitment sources for the future; is being revised in Circular 16 on teacher/class norms.
“There are a lot of things the ministry is doing to develop the quantity and quality of teachers, including emulation and reward policies, improving the quality of training and retraining, teacher training, and developing a system of education and training. pedagogical schools,” said the minister.
To innovate education does not stop at the school gate

The Minister also emphasized that teachers need to change their conception and use of textbooks. Accordingly, the textbooks in the program are just learning materials and teachers are entitled to take the initiative and flexibly use other sets of textbooks and different learning materials.
The role of teachers in the new general education program is more empowered, more active and needs to be promoted. Teachers have the right to decide on the content, sequence of lessons, and organization of tests and assessments – something that has never been done before, when the teaching and learning schedule, the testing method is uniform, consistent with each other. regulations.
Especially emphasizing the role of the principal, Minister Nguyen Kim Son said that if the principal does not innovate, it is difficult to hope for an innovative school. If principals do not change, the change of teachers will be very difficult and may lead to collapse.
